Recycling centres are closed, but are due to reopen with limited access from 11May20, see the press release in the sidebar. Key points to consider:

  • For waste presenting a hazard and there is no other legal way of disposing of it
  • Cars only
  • Max 2 people per car
  • No assistance with unloading

Devon County Council has launched the COVID-19 Prompt Action Fund to provide flexible resources to organisations working with communities who are disproportionately impacted by coronavirus and the social and economic consequences of this outbreak.

A NHS Nightingale hospital will be established in Devon at Westpoint, Exeter, which will be ready to accept patients in early May.

Urgent dental care hubs are being established for people with COVID-19, shielded, vulnerable/at risk from COVID-19. The nearest hub for us appears to be Taunton. See the information leaflet for more details.
