The village of Goodleigh is the main settlement in the parish and it is here that the village hall, church and school can be found.
Opposite Coombe Cottages is a public footpath to Coombe Woods. Here you can enjoy views over Goodleigh and also far reaching views towards Codden Hill and Barnstaple. The parish's 'Millennium Seat' is in Coombe Woods.
Coombe Woods is owned and managed by The Woodland Trust.
There is a playing field at the top of Northleigh Hill.
